On Friday, a Twitter feud between Sen. Kamala Harris and Donald Trump Jr. got personal.
Trump Jr. tweeted out a clip-on Friday that featured Harris at her launch press conference. The video was cut from a longer exchange in which a reporter stated, “You’re an African American woman, but you’re also an Indian American woman,” and Harris replied, “Indeed!”, before laughing and saying she identifies “as a proud American.” In the shortened clip from Trump Jr., she can be seen and heard laughing for several seconds.
“Why is Kamala Harris the only person that laughs at her jokes… always way to long and way too hard?” Donald Trump Jr. asked. “The most disingenuous person in politics… after Hillary.”

Harris quickly responded and burned Trump Jr with, “You wouldn’t know a joke if one raised you.”

Throughout her presidential campaign, Kamala Harris has been highly critical Of Donald Trump. Recently she called on Twitter to suspend Trump’s Twitter account.
“Others have had their accounts suspended for less offensive behavior. And when this kind of abuse is being spewed from the most powerful office in the United States, the stakes are too high to do nothing,” Harris stated.
The most recent polls show Harris is down to mid-single digits behind front runners Joe Biden, and Senators Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders.
Despite her numbers in the polls the Twitter exchange between her and Trump Jr. Received plenty of attention.
The exchange soon went viral on Twitter, with many applauding Harris’ comeback.
