Jon Cooper, the chairman of the Democratic Coalition has predicted that Donald Trump will resign before he can be impeached and cite health reasons for his resignation.
Jon Cooper made the prediction on Sunday on Twitter. His prediction comes on the heels of speculation that Trump’s visit to Walter Reed Hospital in D.C. on Saturday had nothing to do with his annual checkup, which he isn’t due to have until February of 2020.
PREDICTION: Donald Trump will resign from office before he can be impeached, citing health reasons.

Earlier on Monday, Cooper has retweeted an article by CNN that reported that the Walter Reed hospital staff had not been given prior notice that Trump would be arriving, which seems to indicate that the visit was anything, but routine. CNN also noted that Trump’s stop at the hospital was “shrouded in secrecy.”
“The President’s motorcade drove to the medical center unannounced, with reporters under direction not to report his movement until they arrived Saturday at Walter Reed,” CNN reported. “Trump typically takes the Marine One helicopter to Walter Reed, but on Saturday’s clear-skied day, the President opted for the motorcade.”
Unsourced reports circulated that Trump visited the hospital with chest pains. The White House, however, denies such claims and says the visit was to get some tests related to his annual checkup out of the way.
Cooper isn’t the only individual that has predicted that Trump will resign. Tony Schwartz, the ghostwriter of Trump’s book “The Art of the Deal” has also predicted that Trump would resign once the pressure became too great.
Like all bullies, Trump is a coward. If he believes he can get a deal to avoid prison, I do think he could resign. He is facing a grim future and the rats are close to abandoning the sinking ship.
