President Donald Trump’s middle son Eric gave his sworn testimony to New York Attorney General Letitia James’ office on Monday.
This regarding James’ ongoing probe into Trump Organization finances and financial documents.
Eric Trump, who serves as executive vice president at the Trump Organization, gave his deposition to state investigators on Monday, concerning whether or not the the Trump family’s real estate empire falsely reported property values in so that it could get loans and/or tax benefits.
Property is question includes Seven Springs which sites on 212 acres just outside of New York City, as well as numerous transactions that involved a property located at 40 Wall Street, plus a Los Angeles golf club, and the Trump International Hotel and Tower Chicago.
The company denies any wrongdoing.
Eric Trump now leads the business end while serving as Executive Vice President.
Trump Organization businesses have taken a huge financial hit during the pandemic.
They currently face hundreds of millions in losses from world wide lockdowns.
The second son previously tried to push back the date of his appearance until after November 3rd, but was unsuccessful in doing so. He cited business and campaign commitments filling up his time.
Plus attorneys argued that such an event might be twisted and even weaponized, used against the Trump family before this upcoming election.
Though apparently he struck a deal with the AG to testify. That investigation runs parallel with Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr. and a long-running inquiry of Trump and his taxes.
Vance announced last month his office was looking at possibly charging President Trump with tax fraud.
The vacant Supreme Court seat is even more valuable today as Trump could look to appeal his case.
With pressure mounting vs. Pres. Trump to delay further proceedings as a wave of positive covid-19 tests hit White House insiders. They include GOP Senate Judiciary Committee members Mike Lee of Utah and North Carolina’s Thom Tillis.
The president is still tied up with a myriad of lawsuits at present. Eric Trump’s legal counsel did not return a call for comment.

Eric Trump accused Attorney General James in an August Twitter post of “prosecutorial misconduct” for going after the the Trump organization.
“Without any basis, the NYAG has pledged to take my father down from the moment she ran for office,” he said.
“Justice and the rule of law prevailed today,” James said after a judge ordered Eric Trump to appear for questioning no later than Oct. 7.
“To be clear, no entity or individual is allowed to dictate how or when our investigation will proceed or set the parameters of a lawful investigation. The court’s order today makes clear that no one is above the law, not even an organization or an individual with the name Trump.”
