Former Commander-in-Chief Barack Obama has launched a counter offensive against rival Republican President Donald Trump. As he hit the road in support of ex-Vice President Joe Biden and his current presidential bid.
Obama appeared in Philadephia, Pennsylvania as part of a drive-in rally Wednesday. The prior chief executive tore into his foe after news reports surfaced Trump has a bank account in China.
He quipped. “Can you imagine if I had had a secret Chinese bank account when I was running for re-election? They would have called me Beijing Barry!” Nobody saw that one coming.
Along with Obama calling Trump out over his promotion of content on Twitter about alleged conspiracies. Then likened Trump to a crazy uncle.
And he highlighted the importance of decency. As Obama declared, “we’re not going to have a president who goes out of his way to insult anybody who doesn’t support him or threaten them with jail.”
Plus he added, “That’s not normal presidential behavior.” Obama also argued, “We wouldn’t tolerate it from a high school principal, we wouldn’t tolerate it from a coach, we wouldn’t tolerate it from a co-worker. We wouldn’t tolerate it in our own family, except for maybe crazy uncle somewhere,”
Trump and Obama have a heated rivalry dating back several years. Trump has alleged Obama was involved with efforts to spy on his 2016 campaign. Even going so far as pressing U.S. Attorney General William Barr to prosecute top level Obama administration officials.
Biden is currently up 7.5 points according to RealClearPolitics polling national averages. With Obama now on board looking to help him seal the deal. Trump looks to be in some trouble.
They frequently snipe at each other on social media. The intensity is only ratcheting up. There’s so much at stake with a just few short days to go until November 3rd.
This coming just days after Trump said that U.S. Attorney General William Barr had sufficient evidence to indict members of the Obama administration for spying on his 2016 presidential campaign.
Trump has long charged Obama officials with illegal surveillance of his campaign team during that time. In addition to his early weeks in office. An operation widely referred to as ‘Crossfire Hurricane.’
AG Barr appointed U.S. Attorney John Durham of Connecticut to investigate the Russian collusion probe.
So far his investigation has resulted in a guilty plea from one-time FBI attorney Kevin Clinesmith. He confessed to falsifying documents used in obtaining a surveillance warrant.
As Trump claimed, “These people should be indicted, this was the greatest political crime in the history of our country, and that includes Obama and it includes Biden.”
Plus he added, “These are people that spied on my campaign — and we have everything — and now they say ‘we have much more,’ and I say, ‘Bill, we got plenty, you don’t need anymore.'”
Senate Judiciary Committee chair Lindsey Graham (R-SC) is currently conducting his own inquiry on the matter. Obama-era FBI Director James Comey gave his testimony late in September. Previous Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe is reportedly on deck.
A day after he was released from Walter Reed Medical Center Monday, President Trump gave the green light to declassify all documents of the Trump-Russia investigation. And an email scandal involving 2016 Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

Trump has made it a running theme this week to call out AG Barr for not moving fast enough to lock up his enemies. Trump even shared a meme of Attorney General William Barr calling on him to “arrest somebody!”
He then went on to wonder aloud why his rivals, President Barack Obama, Joe Biden, and former Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton aren’t already serving time for launching a “coup” against him and his administration.
“Where are all of the arrests?” Trump said, after posting several dozen tweets on the subject in a 24 hour period. “Can you imagine if the roles were reversed? Long term sentences would have started two years ago. Shameful!”
By afternoon, Trump angrily chirping in all caps.

Trump has also promised to declassify all documents he claims will prove improper activity by Obama and his intelligence advisers. He then back stepped and suggested that he had done that “long ago.”
Clearly, Trump is disappointed in the review Barr ordered.
John Durham has already signaled that he will most likely not pursue the kinds of high-profile prosecutions that Trump is demanding.
Durham’s deputy in the review, veteran Justice Department prosecutor Nora Dennehy, recently quit and returned to the private sector.
“NOW THAT THE RADICAL LEFT DEMOCRATS GOT COUGHT COLD IN THE (NON) FRIENDLY TRANSFER OF GOVERNMENT, IN FACT, THEY SPIED ON MY CAMPAIGN AND WENT FOR A COUP, WE ARE ENTITLED TO ASK THE VOTERS FOR FOUR MORE YEARS,” Trump tweeted. “PLEASE REMEMBER THIS WHEN YOU VOTE!”
This behavior, among others things, was part of the catalyst for Barack Obama’s comments on Trump at the rally this week.
