Pres. Donald Trump is under siege from all angles.
Trump trying to fend off rival attacks and hold on to his place as chief executive. Two top Democrats doubled up to take him down this week.
First former Sec. of State Hillary Clinton gave her take. Mrs. Clinton clearly ready to write Trump off. And she signaled that Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is ready to unleash hell on America if Joe Biden wins:
“I told the Biden campaign and the Biden transition that they’re going to have to move really fast because let’s assume we take back the senate. It matters if we take it back and have 50 votes, or 51 votes or more. And we’re going to have to move very quickly. And thankfully, Nancy Pelosi, and bless her heart in every way we can, has teed up a lot of liberal legislation.”
Then added: “So I would hope that if we get the Democratic Senate… if we want to get something done again. And one of the areas we’ll have to move quickly on is the courts. We’re gonna have to move quickly on everything, election reform, climate change, COVID relief, expanding healthcare, [etc].”
Pelosi did her part earlier in the day with a vicious takedown on Trump. She slammed the president after comments he made at a campaign rally in Lansing, Michigan on Tuesday. “Your husbands, they want to get back to work, We’re getting your husbands back to work. And everybody wants it,” he announced.
Following that, she locked in and leveled him. “What decade is he living in? What century is he living in? So completely removed from the realities of life. And that has caused death.” Surely, he got the message.
Trump has been attempting to woo suburban female voters in recent weeks.
With Pelosi making a statement telling Pres. Trump is hopelessly out of touch. On The View Pelosi came with a dire warning for this election.
Host Joy Behar declared her delight at the prospect of Pelosi taking over as commander-in-chief. Behar then asserted that she knew ‘the Russians’ continue to meddle in the U.S. electoral process.
She also expressed fears about the likelihood of a contested election. And asked the speaker if she was concerned for that matter. Pelosi pulled no punches in her reply. She warned that Pres. Trump will stop at nothing. “Well, I’m concerned, but I don’t— my motto is we don’t agonize, we organize. I have no doubt that the president, in typical fashion, will lie, cheat, and steal to win this election. So we are prepared for that. I’m sorry to have to say that, by being speaker of the House and he’s president of the United States, but that is the reality.”
Pelosi further accused Trump of trying to dismantle the Postal Service and suppress mail-in-voting. She attacked the president for his alleged tactics then assured one thing. The Grande Dame of Democrats promised she and her posse in the House will be ready. As the speaker stated, “But again, we’re ready. We’re ready. I will do everything in my power to make sure that matter how he tries to declare victory or undermine the electoral college or try to win in the House.”
Pelosi continued, “he’s bragging now he’s going to win in the House —I will assure you of this, with a free and fair election Joe Biden will be inaugurated, and Kamala Harris inaugurated president and vice president of the United States on January 20, 2021.”
No love lost there as the two have not spoken directly in months.
With no reason to believe that will change.
