Co-founder of The Lincoln Project George Conway called out Pres. Donald Trump and his outrageous efforts to appeal official election results. Conway made his case on CNN Tuesday.
As Conway told network host Jake Tapper today marked “safe harbor day” with all the states being challenged now having certified results. Yet the president and his campaign team have refused to concede. This will be “officially over,” Conway said, when the electoral college convenes in a week.
When questioned, “Do you think there is a chance the Supreme Court might take up this case that [GOP Sen. Ted] Cruz is pushing?” He replied, “No, it doesn’t have a snowball’s chance,” Shortly after his view was validated. The high court declined to hear that Pennsylvania case.
One leading voice on the right was quick to rip this ruling. Fox Business’ Lou Dobbs lamented “courage lacking” in the Supreme Court. That lawsuit brought by Trump ally Rep. Mike Kelly (R-PA) rejected as Dobbs declared, “The will to stand up for the Constitution now very much in question.” Dobbs also announced:
“The order doesn’t have a signature, doesn’t say anything except referring it to the court. I mean, it really looks awful for them not to have said anything,. It’s downright frustrating, but it’s also very cowardly on the part.”

Plus Conway slammed a Texas suit vs. several other states as “the most insane thing yet,” He also argued it wouldn’t pass muster.
“They are peddling to the Supreme Court the notion that it’s anomalous that some votes in some areas at some points in time are going to more one-sided than others. It’s crazy and they’re saying that.”
Then claimed, “For a member of the Supreme Court bar to do this in the Supreme Court of the United States is outrageous. They’re throwing all the garbage allegations of fraud that the Trump campaign wouldn’t put in some of their complaints in federal district court! It’s absurd and an embarrassment.”

Though reports indicate the Supreme Court has agreed to hear Texas’ claims.
