William McCall Calhoun Jr, a lawyer from Georgia boasted that he is the individual that kicked House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s door in. He also stated that Pelosi dodged “being torn into pieces” according to the criminal complaint against him.

Calhoun is an attorney with his office located in Americus, Georgia. He has officially been charged with “entering a restricted building, violent or disorderly conduct and obstructing official proceedings of government,” according to an FBI affidavit seeking his arrest.
Calhoun bragged about his actions in a video that he shared on social media and a tip was then reported to the FBI’s National Threat Operation Center. He described his role and actions during the Capitol riot on his social media accounts.

On January 6 thousands of pro-Trump supporters stormed the Capitol in an attempt to stop Congress from formalizing Joe Biden as the 46th president of the United States. Five people were killed during the deadly riot.
Calhoun stated that the “mob” searched through Pelosi’s “inner sanctum,” according to his Facebook post that is cited in the affidavit.

“And get this – the first of us who got upstairs kicked in Nancy Pelosi’s office door and pushed down the hall towards her inner sanctum, the mob howling with rage,” Calhoun wrote on Facebook, according to the FBI.
“Crazy Nancy probably would have been torn into little pieces but she was nowhere to be seen,” he added.
Calhoun’s Facebook and Parler accounts were deleted at some point on Tuesday morning.

He was taken into custody on Friday. Officials state that he will remain in jail until his bail hearing Thursday afternoon, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Middle District of Georgia.
Calhoun practices criminal and insurance law. He is currently in good standing with the Georgia Bar Association, but it is not clear if it will stay that way.

On Tuesday, a spokesperson for the Bar Association declined to comment on Calhoun, but a statement was later released that stated, “The Bar only has jurisdiction over lawyers in their professional lives, so the rules do not cover personal conduct unless a member is convicted of a crime.”
As we had previously reported the FBI has a witness that has informed them that the far-right white nationalist group the Proud Boys planned to assassinate Vice President Mike Pence and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi during the deadly January 6 insurrection.
The witness is an FBI special agent who made the claim in a criminal complaint against 43-year-old Dominic Pezzola.

Pezzola is accused of taking part in the riot supporting Donald Trump’s false claims of voter fraud in the 2020 presidential election. Pezzola, who is also known as “Spazzo,” allegedly used a shield taken from a Capitol Police officer to smash a Capitol window to enter the building.
The FBI witness stated that the group that Pezzola entered the Capitol building with discussed committing acts of violence that went frighteningly further than property damage.
“[The witness] stated that other members of the group talked about things that they had done during the day, and they said that anyone they got their hands on they would have killed, including Nancy Pelosi,” the affidavit, which was filed Wednesday, reads. “[The witness] further stated that members of this group, which included ‘Spaz,’ said that they would have killed [Vice President] Mike Pence if given the chance.”

“The group said it would be returning on the ’20th,’ which your affiant takes to mean the Presidential Inauguration scheduled for January 20, 2021,” it continues. “And that they plan to kill every single ‘m-fer’ they can. [The witness] stated the men said they all had firearms or access to firearms.”
Pezzola, who is from Rochester, New York, was arrested on Friday. He was charged with “obstruction of an official proceeding, destruction of government property and unlawfully entering a restricted building or grounds.” More charges may be filed later on as the investigation goes on. If convicted he could serve 20 years in prison.
Court documents associated with his arrest reference a video of Pezzola and a group of men after the building was breached. Pezzola is pictured with a cigar celebrating a “victory smoke in the Capitol” while describing the breach as “f*cking awesome.” The documents also note that Pezzola describes himself as a “Marine vet/boxer/patriot/ Proud Boy 2nd°” in a profile on the Telegram messaging app.
Several members of the Proud Boys have been identified as taking part in the deadly riot.
