A hilarious new mash-up on YouTube has Donald Trump reciting the lyrics to “Run to the Hills” by Iron Maiden.
The video is the latest in a series of YouTube “Metal Trump” mash-ups. The videos are the creation of Lars von Retriever and use clips from Trump’s speeches that are spliced together to form the lyrics from the Iron Maiden song.
“Run to the Hills” is from Iron Maiden’s album “The Number of the Beast,” which was released in 1982. The song is about the destruction and genocide of Native Americans by the settlers.
Lars von Retriever’s previous mash-ups include Trump reciting the lyrics to Rage Against The Machine‘s ‘Killing in the Name’, Queen‘s ‘Another One Bites the Dust’, AC/DC‘s ‘Thunderstruck’ and more.
Linkin’ Park recently had Trump served with a cease and desist letter for the unauthorized use of their song “In the End” at his campaign rallies. The band is not the first musicians to take a stand about Trump using their songs at his campaign events. Neil Young, Panic! At the Disco, Dexys Midnight Runners and the Rolling Stones have all demanded that Trump stop using their music at his events.
