Former Sec. of State Hillary Clinton hit back at rival Pres. Donald Trump on Tuesday.
The two-time First Lady and ex-U.S. Senator speaking with comic Conan O’Brien on his podcast ‘Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend.’
Mrs. Clinton returned fire after a multitude of her infamous emails were made public. Those documents released by her successor at the State Department Secretary Mike Pompeo. On the order of Commander-in-Chief Trump.
When asked of a directive to DNI John Ratcliffe regarding newly declassified material, Trump claimed “It’s about everything. Hillary Clinton is ‘Crooked Hillary.’ I don’t call her ‘Crooked Hillary’ for nothing,”
Trump turned up the heat on Democratic elites last week. As he let it be known there is ample evidence to file charges against leading Democrats. Among them Hillary Clinton and the prior chief executive Barack Obama. Along with Obama’s number two in command and current DNC presidential hopeful Joe Biden.
However the president also conceded that such a move was up to U.S. Attorney General William Barr. Now it seems we could have some dissension in the ranks. The AG has not bowed to his pressure. Which is evidently the cause of a major divide between them.
In turn, Clinton switched gears and set upon Trump. “So when I look at where we are, I think that Trump and his enablers gave a lot of permission to people to say things and act in ways that were deeply racist and misogynistic.”
She added, “Part of what I hope part of this election will be about is reclaiming any ground that’s been lost and continue to push forward because it’s unfinished business. If anybody lived through the last months, how can you not see the need for a moral reckoning with systemic racism? How can you deny that?”
As Clinton concluded, “What we’re going through now is just so different from anything that I think we’ve ever experienced, really. So I’m hoping that we end this experiment, this national nightmare, in this election.”
Prior commander-in-chief Barack Obama and ex-First Lady Hillary Clinton also teamed up together recently to take down President Donald Trump on behalf of the DNC.
Obama expressed in a statement that Trump can’t do the job of president and “the consequences of that failure are severe.”
Obama said he hoped his successor just “might show some interest in taking the job seriously; that he might come to feel the weight of the office and discover some reverence for the democracy that had been placed in his care.”
Then claimed, “But he never did. He’s shown no interest in putting in the work; no interest in finding common ground; no interest in using the awesome power of his office to help anyone but himself and his friends.
No interest in treating the presidency as anything but one more reality show that he can use to get the attention he craves. Donald Trump hasn’t grown into the job because he can’t.”
In addition, Obama would remind Democrats of why he chose the former Delaware senator as his two-time running mate. “Twelve years ago, when I began my search for a vice president, I didn’t know I’d end up finding a brother.”
Plus he added, “Over eight years, Joe was the last one in the room whenever I faced a big decision. He made me a better president. He’s got the character and the experience to make us a better country.”
Mrs. Clinton stressed to Democrats they must turn out this time for their Democratic nominee because “lives and livelihoods are on the line.”
As she declared, “For four years, people have said to me, ‘I didn’t realize how dangerous he was,'” Clinton said of Trump in prepared remarks. “‘I wish I could go back and do it over.’ Or worst, ‘I should have voted.’ Well, this can’t be another woulda coulda shoulda election.”
All of this added together was likely the catalyst for Trump’s Twitter blitz where he he demanded that his political enemies be put behind bars.
He also called out his allies for not moving fast enough to lock up his enemies.
Trump even shared a meme of Attorney General William Barr calling on him to “arrest somebody!”
He then went on to wonder aloud why his rivals, President Barack Obama, Joe Biden, and former Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton aren’t already serving time for launching a “coup” against him and his administration.
“Where are all of the arrests?” Trump said, after posting several dozen tweets on the subject in a 24 hour period. “Can you imagine if the roles were reversed? Long term sentences would have started two years ago. Shameful!”
By afternoon, Trump angrily chirping in all caps.
“DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS, THE BIGGEST OF ALL POLITICAL SCANDALS (IN HISTORY)!!! BIDEN, OBAMA AND CROOKED HILLARY LED THIS TREASONOUS PLOT!!! BIDEN SHOULDN’T BE ALLOWED TO RUN – GOT CAUGHT!!!” Trump tweeted.
Wow!!! NOW DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS, THE BIGGEST OF ALL POLITICAL SCANDALS (IN HISTORY)!!! BIDEN, OBAMA AND CROOKED HILLARY LED THIS TREASONOUS PLOT!!! BIDEN SHOULDN’T BE ALLOWED TO RUN – GOT CAUGHT!!! https://t.co/hf7zjqZYQ4

The obsessive tweets clearly underscore the high degree to which Trump is fixated on what he sees as grievances over Robert Mueller’s Russia probe.
