Ivana Trump excluded her ex-husband former President Donald Trump from her will and left roughly $1 million for the nanny who reared her daughter Ivanka Trump and sons Eric Trump and Donald Jr.

Forbes said that Dorothy Curry, a longtime worker for the Trump family, bought a property in Florida that is worth more than $1 million, based on information from probate records. Ivana left behind property valued at $34 million in total.

Curry began her career as a nanny “with a sparkle in her eye and plenty of nervous energy.” according to Ivana, who passed away in July at the age of 73. Curry allegedly taught the Trump children prayers in English that Ivana wasn’t familiar with.

“I can’t say that religion plays a large role in my life now,” Ivana wrote in her book, according to Forbes. “But I’m glad the children grew up talking to God.”
The probate records list the former nanny’s residence as a middle-class apartment complex in Queens, although it is unclear whether or not she still resides there. Curry is also anticipated to get Ivana’s Yorkshire Terrier, Tiger Trump.

Curry, who eventually served as Ivana’s aide for years, appeared to be highly esteemed by the Trump family. In his mother’s book, Eric Trump stated that Curry was his “second mother” and recalled their time together in Curry’s native Ireland.

“She’s raised me since I was a baby, and we are incredibly close—inseparable. I love her immensely. She’s a big, and very important, part of our family,” he said in the book, according to The Federalist.
The New York City Office of Chief Medical Examiner determined that Ivana’s death was accidental and that she died as a result of “blunt impact injuries of the torso” she acquired during an unintentional fall at her Manhattan home. She was discovered unresponsive at the bottom of a stairway at her home by first responders, and she was later declared dead by the police, according to ABC News.

The Associated Press at the time, citing two persons familiar with the situation, stated that the police were looking into the possibility that she might have suffered her fatal injuries after falling down a staircase. Whether Trump had a heart condition that could have contributed to the fall or whether the cardiac arrest report was connected to her passing was unclear.
On July 20, Ivana’s funeral was held in Manhattan’s St. Vincent Ferrer Church, where her ex-husband and family attended.
When his ex-wife passed away, Trump posted on Truth Social to express his sorrow.
“A very sad day, but at the same time a celebration of a wonderful and beautiful life,” he wrote at the time. “I will be leaving shortly for the funeral service of Ivana. She will be laid to rest today. This will not be easy.”
Ivanka, Eric, and Donald Jr., meanwhile, lauded their mother’s moral integrity and spoke highly of the impact she had on them.
