A new biography, “The Art of Her Deal” about Melania Trump alleges that there are longstanding issues between Melania and her stepdaughter Ivanka Trump,
According to the author of the newly released book, Mary Jordan, Ivanka would refer to Melania as “The Portrait” because Melania rarely spoke. Reportedly Melania has been heard referring to Ivanka as “The Princess” as a reflection of her “entitlement and privilege.”

According to a review of the book by the New York Times, the new book recounts that Ivanka used her nickname for her stepmother often when she was “younger.”
Jordan is a Pulitzer Prize-winner. She conducted over 100 interviews for the book.

A spokesperson for Melania Trump’ has dismissed the new book as “fiction.”
“Yet another book about Mrs. Trump with false information and sources,” Stephanie Grisham, Melania’s chief of staff, said last week. “This book belongs in the fiction genre.”
White House spokesperson Judd Deere said, “These allegations couldn’t be further from the truth and had the Washington Post or the publishers of this book fact-checked this with Ivanka’s office, they would know that.”

“Hit pieces like these only serve to conjure non-existent palace-intrigue stories unworthy of the paper they’re printed on,” Deere added.
