Senior White House advisor Jared Kushner is now under fire after some questionable remarks he made early Monday. As Kushner appeared on Fox News and seemingly disparaged African Americans during an interview.
Kushner speaking of Pres. Donald Trump’s policies, then was soon called out on Twitter. He apparently suggested that some Black Americans don’t work hard enough to be successful.
“President Trump’s policies are the policies that can help people break out of the problems that they’re complaining about but he can’t want them to be successful more than that they want to be successful.” He was quickly taken to task.
Star Trek legend George Takei slammed him. Takei posted a clip of his comments along with, “Jared Kushner is a condescending d*****bag.”
Jon Favreau, former head speechwriter for ex-Pres. Barack Obama wrote, “Jared Kushner’s family connections have provided him his only opportunities in life and he’s still failed miserably at every single thing he’s done, so perhaps it’s Jared who doesn’t want to be successful.”
Another poster added, “Of this I am certain: The average Black person in this country puts in more work by noon than Jared Kushner puts in the whole damn day.” There may be some truth to that.

More from the peanut gallery: “This coming from the guy whose family has made a fortune in low income housing and gouging tenants with ridiculous ” service fees” and ” late rent fees ” that keep their tenants perpetually broke And with Kushner’s so called ‘oppurtunity[sic] zones’, those problems will explode.”
Plus, “The guy who inherited his father’s business, wealth and banking connections implies that Black people may not want to be successful as Trump wants them to be. Most of us didn’t have the luxury to fail up from day one Jared. I’ve heard this racist talking point before in the South.” And, “Slum lord says what?”
No mercy here as that’s how it should be. Kushner has been blessed with opportunities most people only dream of. Among them upwards of $800 million in government sponsored loans. So he can continue to expand his massive real estate portfolio.
The point being first Kushner has no room to speak on the matter. Second, what he did say was way out of line. He should be compelled to answer for that comment.
GOP Super PAC The Lincoln Project took aim at Kushner with a new virtual attack on President Donald Trump. This time top advisor and son-in-law Jared Kushner takes most of the punishment.
As the narrator states, “Evil is real. We ignore it when it seems educated, polite, superficially charming, even sophisticated. We trivialize it, ignore it, and when we do it grows.”
And claims, “Trump’s COVID team led by Jared Kushner decided to ignore testing in states with Democratic governors. Evil was in that room.”
The narrator says testing strategies that emerged from those early meetings were “deliberate, cold, political, pre-meditated,” and while some may have called the White House’s planning “incompetent,” it urges people to “call it what it is: Evil.”
In addition, “The failed leadership of this administration is staggering from the top down,” said Reed Galen, co-founder of The Lincoln Project.
“Playing politics with public health is disgusting enough, but ignoring early warning signs coming from testing in the most populous states in the nation simply because the states are run by Democrats is a level of evil that has, unfortunately, become commonplace in Trump’s America. More Americans have been killed due to the President’s lack of response in COVID than were killed in World War I, Pearl Harbor, Vietnam, or 9 / 11.”
“The president wonders who’s truly loyal to him and who’s not and who’s making a buck on him,” George Conway, one of the group’s founders, told New York, and from his perspective, “triggering Trump’s paranoia” is one way to defeat him. “It doesn’t matter who is the captain of the SS Trump, because Trump is the one who is going to run it into the iceberg in the end. If there’s more chaos, all the better. We try to trigger the chaos in Trump’s DNA.” No mercy from these adversaries.
