George Conway the husband of Donald Trump’s White House counselor Kellyanne Conway, lawyer and co-founder of the Lincoln Project, hilariously mocked Jared Kushner on Twitter.
Conway poked fun at Kushner being put in charge of handling the coronavirus outbreak after Trump had assigned Vice President Mike Pence to head up the virus task force. Kushner like Pence has no medical training or any experience with combatting diseases.
“There’s no deadline for a decision, but one of the people familiar with the talks said the task force will not give [President Donald] Trump its final verdict until Jared Kushner, the president’s senior adviser, and son-in-law, finishes his research and comes to a conclusion himself,” Politico reported.
Earlier this year, Kushner was assigned working with the Middle East on achieving peace talks. When he was asked what experience he had that qualified him for the job, Kushner said that he had read a dozen books and was able to craft a plan. His plan was denounced by Palestinians.
Conway hilariously responded to the news that Kushner would be taking over by asking him if he would reach a “comprehensive peace agreement with the virus.”
Conway is a longtime critic of Trump and his administration. His criticism has caused major issues in his marriage to White House counselor Kellyanne Conway. At one point, Conway stated that if his wife wanted their marriage to work she would have to quit the White House, which he referred to as a “cult.”
