On Tuesday, Former White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany found herself facing major backlash for a tweet she made criticizing President Joe Biden.
McEnany mocked Biden for stating “everyone knows I like kids better than people” during a town hall held on Tuesday.

Biden made a statement while speaking to CNN’s Anderson Cooper about his infant son. Biden told Cooper that he would “enjoy being home with the baby more” than moderating the event.
“Signing off with a final notable quote from Joe Biden during his town hall this evening: ‘Everyone knows I love kids better than people,'” McEnany tweeted alongside a “thinking face” emoji.

It did not take long for Twitter users to call McEnany out for her uncalled-for comment.
Twitter user @debbieSVA responded with, “Trump employee… Trump liked to brag to his golf buddies that “nothing was sweeter than 13 year old’s p*ssy” even the kind of men that would golf with him were appalled. He had a text chain too for graphic pics. A friend of mine asked to be removed as it was too disgusting.”

“You are a sad, miserable person. I would be justified in despising you given your comments about my husband and your support of the former president. Instead, I pity you because you are completely pathetic,” tweeted Rachel Vindman.

Arlene Rabenbauer asked “Do you know who loves kids even more, especially his own kid?”

Lawyer Ari Cohn tweeted, ” We’re about three and a half plot points from when you settle for a job teaching eighth grade and then get arrested for sleeping with a student, aren’t we.”

“This from the same Kayleigh who worked for Donald Trump, the guy so into teens he started a modeling agency, hung out behind the scenes at beauty pageants and lets not forget his pal Jeffrey. So whatever Kayleigh what the hell ever,” tweeted Penny Lane.

B. Janine Morison tweeted out, “You’re jealous of a real professional Press Secretary like Jen Psaki, you tweet crap like your dementia ridden 2x impeached one term “former guy” just for pathetic attention. You’re a compulsive liar, seek professional help. We’re glad you’re gone from our lives, stay gone.”

Richard Lewis responded with. “you haven’t said ANYTHING “notable” your whole time as press secretary April 2020 – January 2021. Just a mouth piece…oops can I say that here? enjoy your stimulus check, kaykay”

“This is petty, but it’s also not a game you want to invite. Do you want to reach back into the archives of Trump-isms?” tweeted Jimmy Spencer.

“Say Kay that’s how a Presidential town hall is done. I’d say hope you took notes but after losing the Fox job the note-taking will come in handy. Heard you’ve got the job! As a receptionist at your daddy’s construction business you better hope the $15 minimum wage is approved, tweeted Tom Wesenberg.

And CNN anchor Jake Tapper responded to McEnany with “From a former WH colleague of McEnany’s: “This is 100% meant to stir up the qanon crowd. Awful.”

McEnany responded to Tapper with “I tweeted this revealing, bizarre quote from Joe Biden that underscores his horrific pro-choice, anti-child policies that have dehumanized life (Mexico City policy etc.) cc: @JakeTapper your source should put her name on the record if she claims to know the intent of my tweets.”

Despite her response to Tapper, no one was buying what McEnany was selling.
