While speaking at a “Women for Trump” event Donald Trump’s daughter-in-law, Lara, mocked Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden for his stutter during the debates.
While she addressed the crowd in Iowa, Trump stated that she felt “sad” for Joe Biden.
“Every time he comes on stage and they turn to him, I’m like, Joe can you get it out, let’s get the words out, Joe,” she said. “You kinda feel bad for him.”
Lara Trump serves as one of Donald Trump’s campaign advisors. During her speech, she also called the Democratic party “desperate” and went on to state that they had zero chance of winning if Biden was the nominee.
“That is why they have tried since the day he came down the escalator to stop Donald Trump,” she said.
Biden did an interview with the Atlantic where he shared that he has had struggled his whole life with a speech impediment. He shared the issues he faced stuttering as a child. John Hendrickson of the Atlantic shared with Biden that he had trouble saying the letter r and Biden said that he didn’t notice it.
Unfortunately, it is not the only time that Biden has been mocked for his speech. Sarah Sanders, Trump’s former White House press secretary, wrote in a tweet that “I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I hhhave absolutely no idea what Biden is talking about,” during a December debate.”

Biden responded to her tweet writing, “I’ve worked my whole life to overcome a stutter. And it’s my great honor to mentor kids who have experienced the same,” Biden responded on Twitter to Sanders’ tweet. “It’s called empathy. Look it up.”
Biden was asked if he was concerned that Trump would mock his stutter if he won the Democratic nomination and he stated that he didn’t think that he was,
“If you ask the polls, ‘Does Biden stutter? Has he ever stuttered? You’d have 80 to 95% of people say no,” Biden said. If Trump was to attack his verbal slips, “it’ll just expose him for what he is.”
