Mark Cuban, the owner of the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks recently stated that he doesn’t have anything personally against trump, but that he does believe that Trump is an ‘idiot.
Cuban made these revelations during an episode of “Just B with Bethany Frankel” podcast on Wednesday.

Cuban tried his best to make a clear distinction between Trump the person and Trump the president. Cuban stated that in his role as President Trump was an “idiot.”
“Look, personally I don’t have a problem with the guy,” Cuban said. “Now professionally as the president, I think he’s an idiot. You know, I never thought he was smart in talking to him.”

Cuban then stated that he did not believe that Trump actually wanted to win the presidency in 2016. Cuban also shared that Trump told him he should run for president he adds that he considered it, but his family was not on board with the idea.
Cuban says that prior to the 2016 election he was supportive of Trump’s campaign explaining he never felt Trump was going to win the election. He again stressed that not for a second did he ever believe that Trump would win the presidency. He then shared that he and Trump were no longer on “good terms.”

“When he first started to run, I said ‘Donald Trump was one of the best things to happen to politics because he speaks his mind.’ I basically said he doesn’t give a f—. He’s not a politician.”
“I had no inkling that he might win. And so, we would talk all the time after I said that because I was supporting him.”

“Because again, I didn’t think he would win. And then as I started talking to him more about things, I asked him questions about real estate and he didn’t really understand the financial side of real estate … It was just clear he wasn’t somebody who learned about anything. That’s where we kind of had our falling out.”
Cuban shared that he will be supporting Joe Biden in the upcoming election.
