One thing about Melania Trump that her former best friend, Stephanie Winston-Wolkoff has brought to the forefront is that Melania Trump was unmoved by her husband’s infidelities and accusations of sexual assault.
“He is who he is. I know who I married,” Melania once told Wolkoff.
It has become abundantly clear that Melania is keenly aware of the totality of Donald Trump and not just his cheating and sexual predation. She is also aware of his pathological lying and racism. She has clearly become desensitized to her husband’s actions and behavior.
By overlooking his actions to keep her lifestyle intact Melania is without a doubt an accessory to Trump’s crimes. Despite mounting evidence that she simply sat back and accepted his behavior many still refer to her as a victim.
During Michelle Obama’s time in the White House, she was subjected to unrelenting toxic racism and sexism. Yet Melania, even as she remains quiet about the sexual assault allegations against her husband, his infidelities, his constant lies, and blatant racism she has labeled herself the “most bullied person in the world.”
Melania signed up for her current situation. She knew what she was getting into.
Wolkoff wrote in her new book “Melania & Me” that Trump’s marriage was a “transactional” one. She says Donald got “eye candy” and Melania received security.
Back in 2005, Melania was asked during an interview if she would have married Trump if he weren’t rich. She angrily shot back “If I weren’t beautiful, do you think he’d be with me?”
Melania is not a passive observer or a helpless victim she is an enabler. She is also more than just a trophy wife. She is clearly a willing accomplice and should be held accountable for her actions.
