With news of a damning new report from The Atlantic about Pres. Donald Trump, it is now time to take another look.
As they claim the president shows a completely different face toward his evangelical christian supporters in private.
A related piece by Business Insider expands on that notion.
The article adds that Pres. Trump essentially has hitched his wagon to some influential right-leaning religious leaders. And even has tailored part of his platform to align with them.
The story shares an anecdote said to be coming from Trump’s former lawyer and fixer Michael Cohen.
Which tells of Trump’s reported fascination with high-profile pastor Creflo Dollar, head of the massive World Changers Church International based near Atlanta, Georgia.
In particular how the wealthy televangelist was able to acquire a new $65 million Gulfstream G650 private jet. After he pleaded with followers to help while arguing a need to ‘safely and swiftly share the Good News of the Gospel worldwide.’

Plus the church claimed “A long-range, high-speed, intercontinental jet aircraft is a tool that is necessary in order to fulfill the mission of the ministry.”
Cohen claims that Trump was mesmerized by the minister and his apparent hustle. As he announced to The Atlantic that Trump liked the “scam” and said Dollar was “full of s—.”
This coming just as The Atlantic quoted ‘several former GOP aides’ telling they “have heard Trump ridicule conservative religious leaders, dismiss various faith groups with cartoonish stereotypes, and deride certain rites and doctrines held sacred by many of the Americans who constitute his base.”
And charged that Trump saw the conservative evangelical base “as a kind of special-interest group.”
One aide allegedly told, “His view was ‘I’ve been talking to these people for years; I’ve let them stay at my hotels—they’re gonna endorse me. I played the game.'” Who are some of these alleged sources?
