For years now, Ivanka Trump has pushed herself as an advocate for women, but it appears that her advocacy does not extend to her younger half-sister Tiffany Trump.
In his new book, “Disloyal: A Memoir” Michael Cohen, Donald Trump’s former attorney and “fixer” writes that Ivanka had no interest in empowering Tiffany especially when she tried to explore a role in their father’s life that Ivanka believed was exclusively hers.
Cohen adds that within the Trump family Tiffany, 26, was often referred to as the “red-haired stepchild.”
According to Cohen, Ivanka often joined in the “casual cruelty” because she “jealously guarded her position as Trump’s favorite and surrogate, even at the expense of her vulnerable younger sister.”
During the Republican National Convention Tiffany Trump took the stage to show her father her love and support.
“A vote for my father … is a vote to uphold our American ideals,” Tiffany stated during her speech.
However, Tiffany did not try and humanize Trump by sharing personal stories about him as a father. Her speech was so impersonal that Twitter users labeled her the “forgotten child.”
“I also really felt for Tiffany and the way she was treated,” Cohen wrote. “The pecking order of the kids was painfully apparent. Trump was very specific about his views on the importance of female beauty in measuring the value of women, including inside his own family.”
Trump has repeatedly boasted about using Ivanka to woo older male businessmen. He’d brag they could not resist her “charms.” “They can’t think straight when they’re around her,” Trump told Cohen. “They can’t keep their eyes off her.”
Trump did not think highly of Tiffany’s appearance Cohen said. “The beauty myth cut both ways in the Trump family,” Cohen wrote.

Cohen writes that after Tiffany graduated from college, she called her father and asked him to call Anna Wintour, the editorial director of Condé Nast, to arrange an internship at Vogue magazine. Cohen said that both he and Ivanka Trump were present when Trump mused on whether to support Tiffany’s idea of pursuing a career in fashion.
“I don’t think Tiffany has the look,” Trump said to Cohen and to Ivanka Trump. “She just doesn’t have what you have, honey.”
“I agree, Daddy,” Ivanka replied. “She just doesn’t have the look is the right way to say it, Daddy,” Ivanka Trump added.
Tiffany Trump decided not to pursue a career in fashion and instead studied law at Georgetown University.
On Tuesday, Trump blasted Cohen calling him a “convicted lier.” The White House called his book “fiction.” Which is funny, since Cohen went to prison because of what Donald Trump told him to do. So, in all likelihood, it’s not fiction at all.
