On Friday, Vice President Mike Pence stated that the Trump administration planned on remaining in the White House for another four-year term.
Pence made the statement while giving a speech to a conservative nonprofit Council for National Policy. As he spoke Trump supporters chanted “four more years.”

“That’s the plan,” Pence replied. “I promise you: We will keep fighting until every legal vote is counted until every illegal vote is thrown out, and we will never stop fighting to make America great again.”
Joe Biden was declared the president-elect back on November 7 and Donald Trump is still refusing to concede.

Trump released a statement from the golf course at his private resort in Virginia last week accusing Biden of “rushing to falsely pose as the winner” after dozens of news outlets declared Biden the winner after it was clear he had won Pennsylvania and its 20 electoral votes. A total of 270 electoral votes are needed to win the presidency and on Saturday, Biden had 290.
“The simple fact is this election is far from over,” Trump said in his statement.
Many Republican lawmakers have followed Trump and are avoiding publicly acknowledging Biden’s win.
A handful of Republicans have spoken up to congratulate Biden and vice president-elect Kamala Harris. Sen. Mitt Romney was the first Republican lawmaker to offer his congratulations to Biden and Harris.

Reportedly behind the scenes, several of Trump’s top aides have tried to convince him to concede. His family is split when it comes to what they believe Trump should do. Donald Trump Jr and Eric Trump are pushing their father to continue to fight while Jared Kushner, Ivanka Trump, and Melania Trump have tried to convince him that it is time to concede.
Mike Pence like Trump maintains the false assertion that the election has not yet been decided, saying “we await the results of our election.”
While Trump and Pence tried to convince Americans that the fight isn’t over the Biden camp is preparing for a rocky transition.
“The fact that they’re not willing to acknowledge that we won at this point is not of much consequence in our planning and what we’re able to do between now and January 20,” Biden stated on Tuesday.
A key figure who helped tip the 2000 presidential contest in favor of Pres. George W. Bush has spoken out. Attorney Theodore Olson, who successfully argued Bush’s case before the Supreme Court in 2000’s election shared his view on this contest.

While making it known he thinks that Democrat Joe Biden will be certified as the winner. Olson reportedly said during a panel hosted by the Federalist Society, “The Framers, they separated the powers because they knew that individuals would be flawed. They put in lots of checks, and we just experienced one, the election.”

Plus he added, “To the extent that the citizens of this country did not like the manner in which President Trump spoke, or the manner in which he threatened people or the manner in which he executed the laws, they exercised their franchise. And we have — I do believe the election is over — we do have a new president.”

Trump has rejected calls for him to admit defeat. Even as multiple news outlets called the presidential race in Biden’s favor last Saturday. But nothing is for certain yet. Behind the scenes, one major player on Trump’s legal team is convinced the results will be reversed.
Sidney Powell, also the lawyer for Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, made a big announcement early Sunday:
“We’re fixin’ to overturn the results of the election in multiple states, and President Trump won by not just hundreds of thousands of votes but by millions of votes that were shifted by this software that was designed expressly for that purpose.”

In addition, “We have sworn witness testimony of why the software was designed. It was designed to rig elections. He was fully briefed on it. He saw it happen in other countries.
It was exported internationally for profit by the people that are behind Smartmatic and Dominion.”
“They did this on purpose. It was calculated and they’ve done it before. We have evidence from 2016 in California. We have so much evidence I feel like it’s coming in through a fire hose.” This could get interesting.
