A new report from The Washington Post calls out Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY).
As the outlet reports that McConnell made a disturbing declaration to his GOP colleagues on Capitol Hill.
Sources say McConnell warned the White House not to make a stimulus deal with Democrats before the election. This following news that Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) gave President Donald Trump’s team 48 hours to strike a deal on Saturday night. As that deadline went by both sides were still in the process of negotiations.
Pelosi is under pressure from within the Democratic Party to deliver. She didn’t appear to change much in her approach as a result. The lower chamber leader continues to take a hard line stance.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) has said he will not bring a $1.8 trillion deal to the Senate floor, but the chamber plans to vote this week on a $500 billion bill with a Paycheck Protection Program extension and expanded unemployment benefits.
The latest word from Washington Post: “McConnell suggested that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) is not negotiating in good faith with Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, and any deal they reach could disrupt the Senate’s plans to confirm Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court next week,”
