On Thursday, President Biden was photographed picking a dandelion flower for first lady Dr. Jill Biden, proving once again that the first couple has an adorable and loving relationship.
As the first couple walked across the Ellipse, a public park near the White House, to board Marine One to Georgia, President Biden stopped to pick a dandelion from the ground for Jill, who he has been married to for four decades now.
When the couple reached Marine One, he lovingly placed his hand on her lower back, guiding her up the stairs.
Video of Biden’s small token of love was shared on social media where it quickly went viral. Social media users praised the president for “never forgetting to show your spouse every day how much you love them” and for the “refreshingly normal” moment. “It’s the little things that keep a marriage going,” one Twitter user posted.

The couple marked Biden’s 100th day in office by traveling to Georgia to visit former President Jimmy Carter and former first lady Rosalynn Carter. While in Georgia the first couple will also appear at a drive-in rally not far from Atlanta.
The Biden’s will also travel to the U.K. and Belgium in June when they will celebrate their 44th wedding anniversary.
President Biden and the first lady are not shy about showing their affection for each other. During Biden’s campaign, they were photographed stealing kisses. They were also captured in photos snuggling before Biden’s inauguration kicked off,
“I adore her. I’m going to sound so stupid — I was saying the other day, when she comes down the steps and I look at her, my heart still skips a beat,” Biden, 78, stated during an interview back in November.
In 2020, President Biden posted an endearing post on Instagram about Jill on their wedding anniversary.”…I’m forever grateful you agreed to spend the rest of your life with me. I love you, Jilly!”
The White House is currently filled with love. Second Gentlemen Doug Emhoff had a viral moment when he blew kisses to his wife, Vice President Kamala Harris during Biden’s first address to Congress on Wednesday.
