President Donald Trump shocked a crowd on Friday in Macon, Georgia. Trump announced he ‘would have to leave the country’ if he doesn’t win a second term.
This appears to be said jokingly, but this isn’t the first time he’s said something similar recently.

He claimed, “I shouldn’t joke because you know what? Running against the worst candidate in the history of presidential politics puts pressure on me. Could you imagine if I lose? My whole life, what am I going to do? I’m going to say ‘I lost to the worst candidate in the history of politics.’ I’m not going to feel so good.”
Plus he added, “Maybe I’ll have to leave the country? I don’t know.”

Trump is now facing a double digit deficit in most national polls. His numbers have taken a tumble in recent weeks. With a less than stellar debate performance. And a covid-19 outbreak at the White House in late September.

The president reported to be in a cash crunch as well. Rival Democrat Joe Biden has been working him over with fundraising as of late. Biden’s camp claims he raised $383 in September alone. Tens of millions more than Trump.
Trump also told his supporters at a rally Fayetteville, North Carolina just days ago that he will never speak to them again if he loses the upcoming presidential election to Joe Biden in November.

Trump railed against Biden during the rally, calling him “the worst candidate in the history of presidential politics.”
“If I lose to him, I don’t know what I’m going to do. I will never speak to you again,” Trump told the attendees at the rally. “You’ll never see me again.”
Biden hilariously trolled Trump shortly after the rally when he released a 10-second ad of Trump’s remarks approving of the message.

This is not the first time that Trump has made these types of remarks. He did so in 2016 when he was running against Hillary Clinton.

“I don’t think I’m going to lose, but if I do, I don’t think you’re ever going to see me again, folks,” Trump said back in April of 2016 at a rally in Maryland. “I think I’ll go to Turnberry and play golf or something.”

Back in June during an interview, Trump refused to state whether he would accept the results of the upcoming election if he lost to Biden.
“I have to see, look, I have to see, I’m not just going to say yes, I’m not going to say no, and I didn’t last time either.”

A growing list of Republicans are turning away from Trump. Several former administration officials went on the record against him.
Numerous ex-staffers of Pres. George W. Bush also made public their dissent. Along with a number of other aides and operatives from within the Republican Party.
In addition some news reports indicate that Trump may be losing support of his base. Constant chaos around the White House being a major issue. Biden hoping to pick up those key swing votes.
Trump is looking at potential legal troubles that are looming in New York. Both state Attorney General Letitia James and Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr. with sights locked on the president. Maybe leaving the country could be another option
