President Donald Trump’s former Chief of Staff has skewered him, CNN reported on Friday.
As Ret. Marine General John Kelly reportedly told friends that President Donald Trump “is the most flawed person” he’s ever known.
Kelly served in the Trump administration from mid-2017 to early-2019. And his departure was not on such good terms. He is alleged to have said of Trump:
“The depths of his dishonesty is just astounding to me. The dishonesty, the transactional nature of every relationship, though it’s more pathetic than anything else. He is the most flawed person I have ever met in my life.”
In addition Kelly expressed to Trump communications director Anthony Scaramucci during an interview, “I think we really need to step back. I think we need to look harder at who we elect.”
He joins a slew of ex-staff members who are speaking out against Pres. Trump. Kelly now serves on the board of Caliburn International, a major federal government contractor. Which is owned by private equity investment firm DC Capital Partners.
The retired military leader hit out at Trump in June. After he threatened using active-duty military to deal with violent protests over police brutality. With much dispute about invoking the Insurrection Act. Trump and Pentagon officials split on the idea.
For his part, Trump has written Kelly off. “When I terminated John Kelly, which I couldn’t do fast enough, he knew full well that he was way over his head,” Trump tweeted in February.
“Being Chief of Staff just wasn’t for him. He came in with a bang, went out with a whimper, but like so many X’s, he misses the action & just can’t keep his mouth shut.”

Last month The Atlantic published reports of Trump trashing military service members. A number of them being from anonymous sources. He soon rejected those claims.
But the seed of doubt was planted. So many charges and allegations, hard to keep it all straight.

It was also discovered recently according to former press secretary Sarah Sanders that she needed to “go to North Korea and take one for the team” after Kim Jong-un winked at her during a White House summit in Singapore.
“Kim Jong-un hit on you!” Trump declared clearly delighted Sanders wrote in her new memoir. “He did! He f*cking hit on you!”
Sanders’s memoir, “Speaking for Myself” is scheduled to be released next Tuesday.

The Guardian was able to get an early copy of the book and reports that the book is a “paean to the president by a loyal follower with the subtitle Faith, Freedom and the Fight of Our Lives Inside the Trump White House.”
Despite being a Trump supporter, Sanders does describe misogynistic behavior by Trump and senior aides.
The incident with Kim, Sanders describes a session where the dictator “reluctantly” took a Tic Tac from Trump who “dramatically blew into the air to reassure Kim it was just a breath mint” and not a capsule of poison.
Sanders shares that Trump and Kim spoke about women’s soccer. She says that she looked up to “to notice Kim staring at me. We made direct eye contact and Kim nodded and appeared to wink at me. I was stunned. I quickly looked down and continued taking notes. All I could think was, ‘What just happened? Surely Kim Jong-un did not just mark me!?’”

She writes that later in the day in the presidential limousine, known as “The Beast,” Sanders shared the incident with Trump and then chief of staff, John Kelly.
“Kim Jong-un hit on you!” Trump said. “He did! He fucking hit on you!” Sanders says that she told Trump that was not what she meant and asked him “sir, please stop.”

Kelly then chimed a supported Trump’s comments.
Trump then told her: “Well, Sarah, that settles it. You’re going to North Korea and taking one for the team! Your husband and kids will miss you, but you’ll be a hero to your country!”
Sanders said the two men then “howled with laughter.”
