Televangelist Kenneth Copeland used his weekly program to blow the wind of God to “finish” the coronavirus.
Just a couple of weeks ago, Copeland told his followers that God came to him and told him that the pandemic would be over. “He also asked his followers to mail him tithe even though many of them have lost their jobs due to the virus.
In his most recent show, he delivered an odd chant/prayer saying that the virus was “finished.” Despite Copeland’s claims, the coronavirus is far from finished. Many health experts state that we are currently at the beginning of the peak.
Copeland kept pushing that he had the power to end the virus. He even “spit” on the virus in an empty church surrounded by his closest allies within the church.
This is a brief outline of what Copeland said and did.
“The Almighty God!…The El Shaddai God…The God who is Almighty!… He’s more than enough…He is the miracle-working God.”
He continued with, “today, we speak to this atmosphere from the state of Washington to the state of Maine. From Southern California to Brownsville, Texas. And the tip of Florida. And wherever else in the world it’s needed.
“Wind! Almighty! Strong! South wind! Heat! Burn this thing! In the name of Jesus! I say you bow your knees! You fall on your face. COVID-19! [Spit]”
He continued with “I blow the wind of God on you! You are destroyed forever. And you’ll never be back. Thank you, God. Let it happen. Cause it to happen.”
Let’s be honest here, Copeland is creepy as H- E- double hockey sticks. When he smiles it gives people the chills.
Copeland also stated during the program that God told him he needed to raise $300 million this year.
“This ministry will receive, this year — are you listening to me now? God just kept laying this on me, just kept laying this on me… of course, I didn’t have any idea all of this [virus] mess was gonna happen, but God did — and the Lord had already dropped in my spirit and in my heart several years ago — about three years ago — that the income of this ministry, this year, had to be $300 million!”
Don’t scoff at his claims. Copeland’s followers have made him a rich man. His net worth is estimated to be more than $250 million.
