President Donald Trump today took to Twitter and trashed Fox News. Trump accusing the network of “doing nothing to help Republicans” and himself win re-election this November.
“Many will disagree, but @FoxNews is doing nothing to help Republicans, and me, get re-elected on November 3rd. Sure, there are some truly GREAT people on Fox, but you also have some real ‘garbage’ littered all over the network, people like Dummy Juan Williams, Schumerite Chris…Hahn, Richard Goodstein, Donna Brazile, Niel Cavuto, and many others.” The president posted.
“They repeat the worst of the Democrat speaking points, and lies. All of the good is totally nullified, and more. Net Result = BAD! CNN & MSDNC [sic] are all in for the Do Nothing Democrats! Fox WAS Great!” He added.

Last month Trump stated his displeasure on Twitter as well. “The people who are watching @FoxNews, in record numbers (thank you President Trump), are angry. They want an alternative now. So do I!” In addition, “We miss the great Roger Ailes. You have more anti-Trump people, by far, than ever before,” the tweet said. “Looking for a new outlet!”
President Trump was particularly peeved at comments made by host Neil Cavuto earlier this week. “The president is insistent that it has enormous benefits for patients either trying to prevent or already have COVID-19. The fact of the matter is, though, when the president said, ‘What have you got to lose,’ in a number of studies, those certainly vulnerable in the population have one thing to lose: their lives.”
Cavuto claimed, “If you are in a risky population here and you are taking this as a preventative treatment to ward off the virus — or, in a worst-case scenario, you are dealing with the virus and you are in this vulnerable population — it will kill you. I cannot stress enough: This will kill you. So, again, whatever benefits the president says this has — and, certainly, it has had for those suffering from malaria, dealing with lupus — this is a leap that should not be taken casually by those watching at home or assuming, ‘Well, the President of the United States says it’s OK.’”
Cavuto has been one of his favorite Fox targets, with Trump going so far as calling for him to be fired for criticizing his 2016 debate performances. But for some reason he just can’t seem to quit Fox.
