Since Donald Trump took office the White House has vehemently denied that he uses any type of product to achieve his “orange glow.” At one point the White House stated that his trademark look was caused by “good genes,”
The Washington Post reports that his look is anything, but natural. The Post revealed that the exact product that Trump applies to his face to maintain an orange appearance. The product is made by Bronx Colors and the exact product is Boosting Hydrating Concealer in the shade of Orange BHC06,
The product is extremely orange.
Donald Trump’s makeup routine became a headline story after Sandra Diaz and Victorina Morales, who are both undocumented women who worked for Donald Trump as his housekeepers at his Bedminster golf club, spoke out about Trump and his routines.
The Post wrote that the two women wanted to “highlight what they consider glaring hypocrisy” his dehumanizing rhetoric about undocumented immigrants. They also pointed out that Trump was consistently hiring undocumented workers to work at his businesses.
The women shared several details about Trump’s routines including his obsessive need to have “two full containers of white Tic Tacs and one container that was half full” in his bedroom at all times. He also always had to have Bronx Colors concealer from Switzerland on hand. The two women stated that Trump would put on two full containers and one- half container onto his face and neck avoiding the area around his eyes. The women also shared that they had to regularly get him new shirts because of the orange stained collars he would have at the end of the day.
Once the news of Trump’s chosen makeup brand went public Bronx Colors jumped on the situation and came up with a brand- new marketing opportunity. The company is now running a new promotion on Trump’s “preferred product.” The company is now offering a buy anything on the site and get one of the orange tubes for free promotion. It retails for $7.22. Reportedly the site has crashed multiple times since the Post published the story.
According to the company’s website Boosting Hydrating Concealer in Orange BHC06 is a “hydrating, silky liquid concealer with a flawless and brightening effect” that “minimizes dark circles, neutralizes red hues, and brighten skin overall” and gives the user “beautiful, natural-looking coverage you can count on.”
Back in September, Trump tried to claim that his “orange glow” was the result of energy-efficient light bulbs.

Jason Kelly, a makeup artist who touched up Trump’s makeup during the Republican convention in 2016, has shared that he thinks that Trump’s appearance is the result of makeup on top of tanning. At the time he told the media that “When I see him, I see a line of oxidized bronzer around his hairline. The application is like a kindergartner did it.”
Trump has reportedly been using orange concealer since at least 2012. Sandra Diaz was interviewed back in 2018 and stated in an interview: “that same year, she said, Mr. Trump had an outburst over some orange stains on the collar of his white golf shirt, which Ms. Diaz described as stubborn remnants of his makeup, which she had difficulty removing.”
