Since the release of Hunter Biden’s memoir “Beautiful Things” was announced one controversial subject has been repeatedly mentioned…Biden’s affair with his late brother Beau’s widow, Hallie.
Biden was extremely candid about his relationship with Hallie in his new book. In 2015. Beau Biden died from brain cancer and in 2017, Hunter and Hallie became romantically involved.

Hunter’s wife, Kathleen, with who he has three daughters, found out about her husband’s affair with Hallie after seeing text messages between the two on an iPad. The affair was the final straw for Kathleen.
“She’d tried for years to help him beat his addiction to crack cocaine and booze. But then she found out he was sleeping with his brother’s wife. She said he was a sicko.”
The book also reportedly details how Hunter went on a five-month, sex-and-drugs binge in Los Angeles after his marriage fell apart.

Hunter shacked up in a bungalow in Hollywood and learned how to cook crack.
He admits that he hung out with strippers, con artists, and junkies who followed him as he moved between Chateau and sordid Airbnbs.
In his book, he details how he smoked crack and visitors would stop by with drugs that included both heroin and meth. He says that he lost count of the charges that racked up on his credit cards to feed his “nonstop depravity.

Reportedly, Joe Biden did not know about his son’s affair with Hallie until he was contacted by the media for comment.
In “Beautiful Things,” which was published on April 6, Biden wrote that his affair with Hallie began “as mutually desperate grasping for love we both had lost, and its dissolution only deepened that tragedy.”

When it first became public that and Hallie was involved, they received support from other members of the Biden family.
“We are all lucky that Hunter and Hallie found each other as they were putting their lives together again after such sadness,” Joe Biden stated at the time. “They have mine and Jill’s full and complete support and we are happy for them.”

In 2019, Hunter and Hallie announced that they had called it quits. The breakup came just days after Joe Biden announced he would be running for president. Hunter has now opened up about him and Hallie’s two-year relationship.
It has now been revealed that while he was in a relationship with Hallie he was exchanging raunchy texts, ‘partying’, and even renting a house with her married sister.
Hallie Biden’s older sister, Elizabeth Secundy, referred to Hunter as her “prince” and in text messages sent between her and Biden she repeatedly told him that she loved him.

The pair’s relationship was revealed in files and emails that were recovered from Hunter’s laptop.
Hunter’s relationship with Elizabeth was far more scandalous than his affair with Hallie.
A text message recovered from the laptop hard drive revealed a sexual conversation between Hunter and Elizabeth that took place in 2016, while he was still living with Hallie.

Hunter offered to teach Elizabeth ‘how to masturbate’ and discussed buying her ‘panties.”
The relationship with Elizabeth continued throughout 2018. The pair even rented a home together in July of 2018.
While appearing on CBS This Morning this week, Hunter spoke openly about the public’s reaction to his relationship with Hallie.
“I think people were confused by it,” he acknowledged. “And I understand that. I mean, I really do. To me, it’s not something that is difficult to explain. Because it came out of real overwhelming grief that we both shared. And we were together and trying to do the right thing. And that grief turned into a hope for a love that maybe could replace what we lost.”
Hunter went on to admit that their attempt to overcome their grief with a romantic relationship did not work out for either of them. When he was asked about the consequences of getting into a relationship with Hallie, Hunter explained that he “made a lot of decisions that [he] probably shouldn’t have made. There were a lot more compassion and understanding from the people that knew me. But it was a horrible time, too.”

Today, Hunter is married to filmmaker Melissa Cohen. The couple married in 2019 after knowing each other only one week. In 2020 they welcomed a son they named Beau.
